Undelete your accidentally deleted files!

That's a very good software (freeware) to recover deleted files on your PC. Even if they were deleted using Shift+Delete. It works on FAT/NTFS partitions, and I just recovered 98 GB that were accidentally deleted.

Elfara7 (The Wedding) Movie - فلم الفرح

I watched ElFara7 movie yesterday, and I have to admit that it is one of the best movies I have seen in a while. Although the story is a bit similar to "Cabaret" movie in many senses, but still the messages delivered are different.
The actors were at their peaks, almost everyone played a very good role, and this movie proves that the importance of the role has nothing to do with how much does it last on the screen. Some roles appeared for a very short while, still they were very important within the whole story and extremely influential.
The only drawbacks of this movie are two:
1. Donia Sameer Ghanem was not good in playing the street girl type part, although in other scenes she was brilliant (when she talked normally, not in a slangish way :).
2. There is a goof (mistake) made by the director in the second scenario (when they assumed that they have stopped the wedding). As the bride and groom appeared in their normal clothes, while they should be in the tux and wedding dress.
Rather than this, the directing was good, acting was great, music was amazing and the script was perfect.
Good luck guys and keep the good work.

Broken Peace

I got this email from Lilia:

here this is the picturei wanted to send yesterdaythis is symbol of peace on my thumb where it came outand the thing on the wall behind is what is called dream catcherthis is from native american indian tradition to protect from harm by catching bad dreams and to only allow the good dreamsi made it after i studied their culture when i was university for my degreein arti studied all the art different cultures and specialised in colonialism of america it is interesting because now you see in israel and iraq they use the same racist language for excuse to take land and to kill people like they did in america to the indiansi have a friend here now - he is writing a book about colonialism and oil all this story about al qaeda for example and islam and terrorism it is all because of oili found out many thingsmasalan about 9/11the world trade centre buildings were bought a few months before they were collapsed by someone who got a special insurance deal. he will make billions on this insurance now whereas before these buildings were losing money and not good business. i also learnt that the 3rd building collapsed even though nothing touched it - there was special office for the mayor (who is connected italian mafia) that was like bomb proof inside that had clear view of both the 2 other towers - so they think this was like 'viewing place' - then exploded 'after' to destroy evidence. i found out also george bush - his father and osama bin laden - his father also - they had dinner TOGETHER the same evening 9 / 11 in america (i think somewhere in washington in fact). All this story about islam and christian and jewish religion fighting. it is all big big excuse for the leaders like big world mafia. the only people who gain from this - are the people who sell the weapons, and sell the oil. where i live they have the american aeroplanes flying outside my house on the way to iraq because there is military base here near where i live.
there is another picture i wanted to send you because we had protest here and i climbed inside the base pretending to be weapon inspector like they had in iraq as excuse for war. i was lucky because the police chased me but becaues i was woman smiling it was like big game. they put my picture in the newspaper. instead 2 my friends one month later they went inside but they got put in prison for 6 months, and then after the americans said they would shoot anyone dead if they went inside again, so i was lucky. so this picture i send you today is fordreaming of peace where before it was broken shokran.

i will send you more pictures you can use for your blog i will look for them

God helps you Liban!

Here are the rules to keep in mind when watching television news in the evening or reading the morning newspaper. Observing them closely will simplify things considerably.

Rule 1: In the Middle East, it is always the Arabs who attack and the Israelis who defend themselves. This is called reprisal.

Rule 2: Arabs, Palestinians or Lebanese do not have the right to kill civilians of the other side. That would be terrorism.

Rule 3: Israel has the right to kill Arab civilians. This is called legitimate defense.

Rule 4: When Israel kills too many civilians, Western powers urge restraint. This is called the response of the international community.

Rule 5: The Palestinians and Lebanese do not have the right to capture Israeli soldiers, even if their number is very small and does not exceed three.

Rule 6: Israelis have the right to kidnap as many Palestinians as they wish (around 10,000 prisoners to date of which some 300 are children). There is no limit whatsoever and Israel is under no obligation to provide any proof of guilt of the kidnapped persons. It only suffices to pronounce the magic word "terrorist." Lately this included members of the Palestinian Administration cabinet ministers, and members of parliament.

Rule 7: When mentioning "Hizbullah," one must always add the words "supported by Syria and Iran."

Rule 8: When mentioning "Israel," one should never add "supported by the United States, France and Europe;" otherwise people would think the conflict unequal.

Rule 9: Never speak of "Occupied Territories," UN Resolutions, violations of International Law or Geneva Conventions. This could disturb and confuse TV News viewers.

Rule 10: The Israelis speak better English than Arabs. This is why they and their supporters are allowed to speak as frequently as possible. This way they could explain to us the foregoing Rules 1 to 9. This is called journalistic neutrality.

Rule 11: If you are not in agreement with the above rules or you think they favor one party over the other, it is because you are a dangerous anti-Semitic, anti-democracy, and anti-freedom.

Maamoun Elmeleegy's new song.

Ne7lam Sawa

Ma2moun Elmeleegy has recorded a new song and a video clip called Ne7lam Sawa. I was at his gallery with a friend of mine (Mahmoud Youssef) on the 25th of Dec 2005, and Ma2moun was telling us about a song that he made the music for, which is talking about friendship between Muslims and Christians in the Egyptian society as a whole.
So Mahmoud suggested that Ma2moun can compose it and work on its video clip so it can be showed on satellite channels by the 5th and 7th of January, because he noticed that both feasts (Bairam & Christmas) are coming together in the same time. Actually it was a nice observation. So Ma2moun called the composer on phone, and played the song on the phone for him, and the composer did a lot of efforts to finish it quickly. Then Ma2moun thought of the idea of the video clip (Maamoun likes to direct his video clips:) and he thought of making it a story of two old school friends, a Muslim and a Christian, and the video clip begins with them sitting together and then flashing back to their school memories.
Ma2moun got introduced by that time by Christian young guys that own a video filming and editing company, so he asked them if they can do the video clip without charges because there is a kind of a national value in the words of this song. The guys accepted, and actually they did a very good job, the made a very nice video clip and in an extremely short time, and Ma2moun managed to send it to TV channels before the feasts by 2 days.
The nice thing about this video clip is that almost half of the crew are Muslims, and the other half are Christians, and all of them did this song for free, and just trying to send a nice value and message, that there are no differences between Muslims and Christians in Egypt, they are all Egyptians.

Here are some pics that were taken at Ma2amoun's gallery (Fantasy) last week.
